We are extremely happy to have Dr. Tom Keenan (se profile below) from Australia’s national science agency, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) visit Sweden for a road show cross the southern parts of Sweden, with pitstops at Malmö University, Linköping University and the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, see dates and times below.

Tom will address the growingly important topic of research impact assessment and impact management – a key issue for Swedish universities and the subject area of the Vinnova project SKÖN (project manager Jan Axelsson, LiU) which focuses on establishing a quality systems framework for evaluating academic performance and societal impact.

Tom Keenan, PhD, is Senior Advisor at the Planning, Performance and Evaluation team of Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO). Tom’s portfolio includes a great depth of understanding and extensive experience in all aspects of planning, performance, and evaluation, and in the growing area of research impact assessment. He has more than 20 years’ experience as both a practitioner and researcher within the field of business management.
